The development of comedy TV drama could be dated back to the 1960s. Not only lighting up the everyday life of the community but also reflecting the social reality, these comedies have become a vital part of Hong Kong TV culture.
To tie in with the “Hong Kong Pop Culture Festival 2025” under the theme of “More than Joy”, this special time-limited programme will feature footages of selected classic comedy TV drama in the 1980s, allowing audience to revisit the diverse charm of this genre of TV drama in Hong Kong.
Comedy TV Drama is a Cantonese programme with a duration of about 10 minutes. Footage from the following classic TV drama will be included:
