"Arts Buddies 2019" Launching Ceremony and Art Day Camp

Jointly organised by the Education Bureau, Hong Kong Heritage Museum, the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, Hong Kong Baptist University, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Arts Buddies programme is now in its seventh year. Pursuing the same objectives as in previous years, the programme aims to enrich young people's knowledge of and skills in art appreciation and enhance their ability to share their art experiences with others. The programme's launching ceremony and the art day camp were held on 26 January 2019. About 140 University Buddies and School Buddies from secondary schools took the opportunity to learn how to appreciate Chinese art, sculpture and ceramic, and they met one another to build a mutual-learning community.
