Opening Ceremony of the exhibition: Studio Ghibli Layout Designs: Understanding the Secrets of Takahata and Miyazaki Animation
The opening ceremony of the Studio Ghibli Layout Designs: Understanding the Secrets of Takahata and Miyazaki Animation exhibition was held on 13 May 2014 at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum.
Special guests (from left) Mrs Betty Fung, Director of Leisure and Cultural Services, Mr Vincent Lo, Chairman of the Art Museum Advisory Panel, Mr Douglas So, Executive Director, Charities of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, "No Face" from Spirited Away, Mr Raymond Young, Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Koji Hoshino, President of Studio Ghibli, Mr Kazuyoshi Tanaka, Exhibition Producer of Studio Ghibli, Mr Kan Miyoshi, Curator of the Ghibli Museum, Mitaka, and Ms Belinda Wong, Museum Director of the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, officiated at the opening ceremony.
Mr Kazuyoshi Tanaka from Studio Ghibli and Mr Kan Miyoshi of the Ghibli Museum, Mitaka introduced the exhibits to the press.
