The Legend of Kwan Tak-hing – On Stage, On Screen and Off

In a career spanning over 70 years in the performing arts, Kwan Tak-hing was a highly esteemed figure in the performing arts sector. Kwan performed on the stage under the stage name "Sun Leng Jau", he was particularly good at portraying General Kwan, and was hailed as "General Kwan Incarnate". Kwan made his debut on the silver screen in the 1930s, his Wong Fei Hung series is highly recognised as a classic in the film history of Hong Kong. Kwan maintained his heroic image on and off screen, always eager to help others and devoting time and effort to charitable causes. 2021 marks the 25th anniversary of the death of Kwan, visitors can have an opportunity to revisit the legend's life and career through the invaluable collection of old photos and memorabilia.
