"A Glimpse of TSUI's Collection" Affiliation with Twelve Flower Deities

The Month Cups are lauded as one of the finest creations made by the imperial kiln for Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. These delicately crafted cups are as fine as eggshells. A complete set consists of twelve porcelain cups, which are deemed highly artistic and collectable. On each cup is painted flowers of the month, accompanied by a corresponding poetic couplet. To coincide with the exhibition "A Glimpse of TSUI's Collection", The Tsui Art Foundation invited Mr Tam Po-shek, a renowned dongxiao performer to compose theme melodies for the Twelve Flower Deities.

The Hong Kong Heritage Museum has produced the “Affiliation with Twelve Flower Deities”, an animation depicting the motifs of the Month Cups, accompanied with music composed and played by Mr Tam Po-shek to showcase the beauty of the Month Cups.

A special thanks to The Tsui Art Foundation
