Amazing Twists: Conservation and Sustainability of Museum Resources| Programme Replay (Highlights)

The Hong Kong Heritage Museum and local fashion brand Sparkle Collection jointly organised a seminar to initiate cross-disciplinary exchanges and dialogues on art, heritage and design. The seminar explored how museum resources inspire creativity by mixing traditional craftsmanship with modern rendering, inspiring the fashion industry with cutting-edge designs, and re-defining cheongsam with endless possibilities. It is hoped that, by bringing museum collections into everyday life, the beauty and legacy of cheongsam could be best preserved and passed down to future generations, and yet to stay young and charming as ever.
