Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department
Organised by the Hong Kong Heritage Museum
2025 marks the 25th anniversary of the Hong Kong Heritage Museum. To celebrate this milestone, we present this silver jubilee exhibition to introduce the background of the establishment of the museum, our past exhibitions and our core collections. The exhibition provides visitors with a deeper understanding of the mission and vision of the museum. It also helps illuminate how we have successfully built capacity in collecting and exhibiting Hong Kong popular culture through much of our earlier work.
The exhibition includes a video programme that provides visitors with a glimpse into the daily activities in the vicinity of the museum; historical photographs illustrating the dramatic development of the museum site; and a multimedia showcase of posters and a display of souvenirs and catalogues for visitors to relive past exhibitions.
Do you remember the friends or family members you visited the Hong Kong Heritage Museum with for the first time? This anniversary is the perfect opportunity to invite them back to the museum to relive the fond memories you created together in the museum!
