Merry Christmas — Ink Painting Workshop

Contemporary ink painting is no longer limited to traditional landscapes, instead emphasising innovation and a wide diversity of subject matter. The instructor will guide the participants to use various ink and colouring techniques to create a painting with the theme of Christmas, bringing festive cheer to their homes.

Enrolment A maximum of 30 participants (15 pairs of child and adult) for each session. Enrolment starts on 11 November 2024 at 10:00 am and ends on 22 November 2024 at 3:00 pm. To register, please complete the application form for Education and Extension Programmes (download the form or apply online). In case of over-application, an open lot draw will be conducted. Successful applicants will be notified by phone.

Pictures in Lyrics – Expressive Art Workshop
Special Programme for “A Laugh at the World: James Wong” Exhibition

Song lyrics can be both sung and illustrated. The instructors will play songs with lyrics written by James Wong and guide the participants to connect with the lyrics and express their feelings vividly with a paintbrush on paper.

Tango with Zentangle

The instructor will guide the participants to create a Zentangle that reflects their inner world by repeating basic patterns, shapes and lines. Through this focused drawing process, the participants will immerse themselves in a serene exploration of “Zen”.

Twist and Turn – Wire Portrait Workshop

Metal wire is highly malleable and can be bent easily. The instructor will guide the children and parents in making a wire portrait of each other, enabling them to see one another in a new light.
