Heroes in Clay – Sculpture Workshop
Special programme for “A Path to Glory: Jin Yong’s Centennial Memorial Sculpted by Ren Zhe” exhibition

Jin Yong's literary world has enthralled the hearts of many with its vivid portrayal of martial arts characters. The instructor will guide the participants to craft a miniature hero figure using polymer clay, making these beloved fictional characters spring to life before their eyes.

Time Session 1: 10:30 am – 1:30 pm (MuseKids Only) *
Session 2: 2:45 pm – 5:45 pm

Target Children aged 8 to 12 (an accompanying parent is required)
Enrolment A maximum of 30 participants (15 pairs of child and adult) for each session. Enrolment starts on 10 June 2024 at 10:00 am and ends on 21 June 2024 at 3:00 pm. To register, please complete the application form for Education and Extension Programmes (download the form or apply online). In case of over-application, an open lot draw will be conducted. Successful applicants will be notified by phone.

*Note MuseKids who have never participated in a MuseKids programme will be given priority. If the number of first-time MuseKids participants exceeds the quota, an open lot draw will be conducted.

 

Weaving Creativity – SAORI Wreath Workshop

SAORI weaving is an expressive art form that embraces imperfection and encourages spontaneous creativity. The instructor will introduce the principles and techniques of SAORI weaving and guide the participants to create a vibrant, lively woven wreath decoration.

Piece by Piece – Mosaic Workshop

Mosaic art is a technique that involves arranging small stones or colourful glass fragments to create intricate patterns. The instructor will guide the participants to craft their own distinctive mosaic artwork with the Mid-Autumn Festival as the theme, offering a fresh and original way to celebrate the occasion.
