LATEST OPENING ARRANGEMENTS FOR HONG KONG HERITAGE MUSEUM
All LCSD museums (except the Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence) will be reopened from April 2 (Friday). Hong Kong Heritage Museum and its branch museums, Hong Kong Railway Museum and Sheung Yiu Folk Museum will resume normal opening hours. Special arrangements and precautionary measures will be implemented to help ensure public health.
Opening hours of Hong Kong Heritage Museum
Monday, Wednesday to Friday : 10am to 6pm
Saturday, Sunday & public holidays : 10am to 7pm
Christmas Eve and Chinese New Year's Eve : 10am to 5pm
Closed on Tuesdays (except public holidays) and the first two days of the Chinese New Year
Special arrangements
• Admission quotas will be implemented to limit visitor flow.
• Guided tours will remain suspended. For other programmes, please check our museum website for updates.
Precautionary measures
• The hygiene of the facilities will be strengthened. Regular disinfection of toilets, lifts, escalators, railings, buttons and all public areas of the museum will be arranged. Sanitising mats and alcohol hand sanitisers will be provided.
• Visitors entering the museum will need to use hand sanitiser and will be subject to temperature checks before admission. Visitors with fever symptoms will not be admitted.
• Visitors will need to wear their own masks in the museum.
• Children aged under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Visitors are required to use the "LeaveHomeSafe" mobile app or register personal information on site. Please be prepared in advance.
The museum will continue to monitor the situation closely and review the arrangements in a timely manner.
