Comrades: Almost a Love Story (1996) Film Screening

In memory of the 30th anniversary of Teresa Teng’s passing, we are proud to present a special screening of Comrades: Almost a Love Story – a masterful cinematic gem that artfully weaves the ‘Teresa Teng phenomenon’ into its narrative. This film serves as a perfect example of the harmonious blend of music and storytelling, creating a timeless classic. It tells a love story starring Leon Lai and Maggie Cheung, who migrate separately from Mainland China to Hong Kong and later drift to New York. The two meet in Hong Kong, experience the joys and sorrows of those around them, and eventually reunite in New York through the music of Teresa Teng.
